Lake Monsters Lacrosse

LCRAC Partnership

This is an outside club team that will benefit Lexington County High School players as well as other area players who chose to play with us this summer. We have partnered with Lexington Recreation and our registration will run through them. This covers all players with insurance and gives us guaranteed access to fields this summer. The 75% rule will be in effect at the U-17 level and all SCHSL regulations for outside teams will be followed. With all of the uncertainty in the world currently, all players will be required to sign a waiver and will be insured through LCRAC. Our goal is to keep all players safe on the field and we will do everything in our power to do so.

The Lake Monsters Lacrosse Club is a summer/fall travel team made up of players from Lexington County High Schools & other Midlands area High Schools. The goal and mission of this Club is to help players develop and further their lacrosse skills and IQ during the offseason time periods. We also hope the creation of this club will help the great sport of lacrosse to continue its growth in Lexington County and surrounding areas.

All of our coaches are members of local high school coaching staffs. Each coach has multiple years of experience and they all have the desire to help players improve on and off the field as they prepare for their 2021 high school season.

Our goal will be to have at least one U-13, U-15 & U-17 level team for this summer. We just want to get as many players back on the field as we can.

Joint Travel Team with your Mortal Enemies:

Yes…during the spring our goal is to defeat each other by as much as we possibly can. But during the summer and fall we can come together and make each other better! By joining in the summer we will be able to field competitive teams and get better every time we share the field together. Our goal is to help every player in Lexington County and surrounding areas improve over the summer in a competitive environment at an affordable price. No profit will be made off of the players. Everything is being provided at cost. Players will pay tournament fees, apparel fees, and shared fees to take care of mileage and lodging for our coaches. That means all of our coaches are volunteers, and are not here to make money. By helping to cover their mileage and lodging they at least won’t lose money while working with our teams.

Team Goals

Team Goals

With this being a summer travel team, the emphasis will be on improving the skills of every player and getting everyone as much playing time on the field as possible.

1. Bring together Lexington Area Schools so that we can all improve and get back on the field this summer.

2. Receive coaching from local area coaches that have multiple years of HS & Collegiate experience while playing in a competitive environment.

3.Keep a stick in your hand and get better for the 2021 season!

U-15 Team:
We would like to enter into both the Southeast Summer Invitational and Asheville Classic with at least 23 – 25 players for this team. In order to play on the U-15 team your graduation year should be the following: 2023, 2024, & 2025 and you should have played at the C/B-Team or JV level during the 2020 Season. If we have enough 2025 players or younger 2024 players we will look to create a U-13 team if we can. (Any 2023 or 2024 players playing at a higher level will also be considered for the U-17 team.)

U-17 Team:
We would like to enter into both the Southeast Summer Invitational and Asheville Classic with at least 23 – 25 players for this team. The majority of this team will be comprised of 2021 & 2022 players who played at the Varsity level during the 2020 Season. 2023 players, who were on a varsity roster during 2020, will also be considered for this team.
