Lexington Youth Basketball Summer League

Come out and join the best youth basketball league in the midlands. This recreational league will focus on teaching players the fundamentals and basics of basketball. Come out and see if you have what it takes to be the best in the midlands.

Registration Dates: Registration starts March 1st. The league is limited to the first 160 players per age group. Last day to register for the league will be May 1st (Or until full)

Practices will begin May 19th. Games will begin June 6th and 7th.

Cost: $97/player

Age Groups:
Co-ed 4-6

Boys Age Groups:
7-8, 9-10, 11-12 and 13-15

Girls Age Groups:
7-8, 9-10, 11-12 and 13-15

IMPORTANT DATES

· Players will be contacted by their coach on or near May 16th , 2025

Practices will begin Monday, May 19th, 2025

All games will be on Fridays & Saturdays and will begin on June 6th and 7th, 2025

Coaches will be able to reserve practice times via a google document that we will permit access to when the practice schedule is ready.

MANDATORY COACH’S MEETING WILL BE – May 15th at 6:15pm at Barr Rd Gym 213 Barr Rd. Lexington, SC 29072.

All players will go through the draft process. They will take place at the Barr Road Sports Complex.

**Draft days/times for age groups are tentative and could possibly change once registration is final. Boys draft is divided by the first letter of their LAST NAME. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to sign in. See below for specific draft days and times**

ALL PLAYERS IN THE 4-6 AGE GROUP WILL NOT BE DRAFTED - THEY WILL BE PLACED ON TEAMS

Girls 7-8 Age: May 5th at 6:00pm	Boys 9-10 Age (A to M): May 7th at 6:00pm
Girls 11-12 Age: May 5th at 7:30pm	Boys 9-10 Age (N to Z): May 7th at 6:30pm
Boys 7-8 Age (A to M): May 6th at 6:00pm	Boys 11-12 Age (A to M): May 7th at 7:30pm

Players who did not participate last year must submit a copy of their birth certificate. They may be submitted by email, fax or mail.

· May 16th-18th, 2025 Dicks Sporting Goods 110 Bower Pkwy. Columbia, SC 29212 will be hosting a Player Appreciation Day for all Lexington County Youth Basketball Players. This event will run from Friday through Sunday. Players and Parents will receive up to 20% off their entire purchase.

2025 Summer Lexington Youth Basketball

Come out and join the best Basketball League in the Midlands. This program is open to players from 4-15 years of age.

Our leagues are broken down by Divisions: 4-6 Co-ed, 7-8 boys, 9-10 boys, 11-12 Boys, 13-15 Boys and 7-8 Girls, 9-10 Girls, 11-12 Girls and 13-15 Girls.

Games will start in June and end in August.

Games will take place on Friday nights and Saturdays.

Practices will be throughout the week starting after 6:00pm. Practices times will vary based on the age of the player.

Registration cost is $97 per child

Each age group will be limited to the first 150 players.

All new players will go through an evaluation process.

For the 2025 Summer Season, we will not be taking any special requests or team assignments. Players will be drafted to their teams.
