Front Desk Staff
Barr Road Sports Complex
Part-time position.  Responsible for greeting and assisting the public.  Must be able to answer questions in person and on the phone, distribute information, process registrations, and perform other office and facility related tasks.  Job involves supervising events and tournaments, and working the canteen.  You must be able to move equipment up to 50 lbs.  Hours will generally be nights and weekends.  Applicants must have a high school diploma.  Submit applications in person at the Barr Road Sports Complex or email them to Erin Chinners.

Batesburg-Leesville Leisure Center
Part-time position. $9/hr. 25-29 hours/week. Spires Recreation Center
Part-time position. $9/hr. 10-15 hours/week, Weekends Only. Full-Time Positions

Licensed Electrician/Master Electrician
Maintenance Department
Under general supervision, installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems and equipment for properties owned by the Lexington County Recreation & Aging Commission.
Duties required
Installs and repairs electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings.  Installs conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables. Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware.
Connects electrical systems to power lines to provide electricity to buildings. Tests and inspects electrical systems to ensure they are working properly and meet electrical codes.
Required Skills and Abilities

Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring with ability to read blueprints.  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.
Minimum Requirements
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a formal apprenticeship and a valid electrician’s license.  Applicant must also possess a valid SC Driver’s License with preference of a CDL. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Rate of pay
Based on years of experience and education.

Case Manager
Aging Administration
Full time with Benefits, Bachelor degree required and background in human or social services preferred.  This position works with clients receiving Meals on Wheels services from LCRAC, Council on Aging.  Case managers will be responsible for clients in a designated area, home visits and record keeping in the client database. Salary based on experience.

Job Description:

Grounds Crew
Maintenance Department
Job Description:
Under general supervision, performs a variety of maintenance related jobs to include:  turf care, landscaping, litter control, janitorial tasks, and preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and vehicles as needed.  Must be able to work in all weather conditions.  Work involves bending, heights, and lifting up to 75 pounds.  May be required to work weekends and nights as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Education - High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Qualification - Prefer previous experience with lawn care and/or building maintenance. 
Applicants must possess a valid SC Driver’s License (Class B License helpful) and be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
