After School Counselor
Batesburg-Leesville Leisure Center
Part-time position beginning in August. M-F, 2-6 pm. Counselors are required to plan and implement activities under the direction of the After School Director. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma. Applicants must pass a national background check. Front Desk Staff
Lexington Leisure Center
15-25 hours per week.  Hours may vary, occasional weekends required.  Desk staff responsibilities include greeting customers in person and over the phone; providing information about programs, activities, and events; processing payments and registrations; light cleaning; and assisting with other tasks around the office.  Applicants must pass a national background check.  Submit completed applications to Ann Griffis or at the Lexington Leisure Center front desk.

Group Fitness Instructor
Lexington Leisure Center

M,W,F 11-11:45 am.  $30 per class.  We are looking for a certified instructor to lead the Classic Fit program.  This class is focused on chair exercises for seniors using light hand weights and bands. Homecare Tech
25 hours per week. Position assists with light housekeeping for older adults, prior experience preferred. Duties include light housekeeping in older adults homes.  Background check required.  Submit applications to Mary Beth Callais at 125 Parker Street, Lexington 29072

Frozen Meal Assistant
15 hours per week.  Helps delivers of meals for the meal program and assists at the Batesburg-Leesville Senior Center with daily operations.  Morning hours Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Duties include loading and unloading truck, inventory in walk in freezer and drivi9ng meals to different centers.  Must be able to lift 75 pounds and have a valid SC driver’s license.   Submit applications to the Batesburg-Leesville Senior Center or 125 Parker Street, Lexington 29072.

Senior Center Assistant
Gilbert Summit Gym & Senior Center
25 hours per week.  Assists in daily operation and maintaining cleanliness of the Gym and coordinates activities in the facility.  Please submit application to Gilbert-Summit Senior Center Director or the Aging Administration Office at 125 Parker St. Lexington, 29072.

Case Manager
Aging Department

Minimum Requirements:
Must have a bachelor’s degree in human services or related field.

Description:
Responsibilities include in-home assessments for meals on wheels and completing detailed paperwork of case loads.

Plumber
Maintenance Department

Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Education - High School Diploma or GED and vocational/technical school training in plumbing.
Minimum Qualification -   3 to 5 years of experience in plumbing or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Certified Journeyman Plumber license helpful.  Applicants must possess a valid SC Driver’s License and be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Description:
Under limited supervision, performs a variety of maintenance related jobs to include:  repair and replacement of plumbing fixtures and systems which includes faucets, toilets, water coolers, water heaters and valves, irrigation systems and water hydrants.  Must be able to work in all weather conditions.  Work involves bending and lifting up to 75 pounds.  May be required to work weekends and nights as needed.

HVAC Mechanic

Maintenance Department

Description: 
Under the general supervision, performs a variety of maintenance related jobs to include: assisting HVAC technician with repairs to refrigeration, air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, hermetic compressors, light commercial furnaces, burners, intake and exhaust fans, and ice machines. Must have good communication skills. May be required to work weekdays and nights as needed. 

Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Qualifcation: 6 months trade related experience and/or technical school
Must possess a valid SC Drivers' license and be able to pass a background check and drug screening

Grounds Crew
Maintenance Department

Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Education - High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Qualification - Prefer previous experience with lawn care and/or building maintenance. 
Applicants must possess a valid SC Driver’s License (Class B License helpful) and be able to pass a background check and drug screening. 

Description:
Under general supervision, performs a variety of maintenance related jobs to include:  turf care, landscaping, litter control, janitorial tasks, and preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and vehicles as needed.  Must be able to work in all weather conditions.  Work involves bending, heights, and lifting up to 75 pounds.  May be required to work weekends and nights as needed.
