Licensed Electrician/Master Electrician
Maintenance Department
Under general supervision, installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems and equipment for properties owned by the Lexington County Recreation & Aging Commission.
Duties required
Installs and repairs electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings. Installs conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables. Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware.
Connects electrical systems to power lines to provide electricity to buildings. Tests and inspects electrical systems to ensure they are working properly and meet electrical codes.
Required Skills and Abilities
Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring with ability to read blueprints. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.
Minimum Requirements
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a formal apprenticeship and a valid electrician’s license. Applicant must also possess a valid SC Driver’s License with preference of a CDL. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Rate of pay
Based on years of experience and education.

Case Manager
Full time with Benefits, Bachelor degree required and background in human or social services preferred. This position works with clients receiving Meals on Wheels services from LCRAC, Council on Aging. Case managers will be responsible for clients in a designated area, home visits and record keeping in the client database.

Job Description:
The duties include transportation of seniors to and from the center and assists with daily duties at the center. Must have good people skills, able to lift 25 pound on a regular basis, and SC Driver’s license. Experience in Aging Services preferred.

Under general supervision, performs a variety of maintenance related jobs to include: turf care, landscaping, litter control, janitorial tasks, and preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and vehicles as needed. Must be able to work in all weather conditions. Work involves bending, heights, and lifting up to 75 pounds. May be required to work weekends and nights as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Education - High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Qualification - Prefer previous experience with lawn care and/or building maintenance.

Under limited supervision, performs a variety of maintenance related jobs to include: repair and replacement of plumbing fixtures and systems which includes faucets, toilets, water coolers, water heaters and valves, irrigation systems and water hydrants. Must be able to work in all weather conditions. Work involves bending and lifting up to 75 pounds. May be required to work weekends and nights as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Education - High School Diploma or GED and vocational/technical school training in plumbing.
Minimum Qualification - 3 to 5 years of experience in plumbing or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Certified Journeyman Plumber license helpful. Applicants must possess a valid SC Driver’s License and be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
