Part-time position. $9/hr High School Students, $12/hr with H.S. Diploma, M-F, 1-6 pm. Counselors are required to plan and implement activities under the direction of the After School Director. Food Packer
Batesburg-Leesville Food Distribution Center
20 hrs/week.  Assists with food deliveries, sorting and organizing food for the nutrition program for seniors.  Must be able to left 25 pounds and have a valid SC Drivers license.  Submit application to 125 Parker Street Lexington SC 29072

Front Desk Staff
Barr Road Sports Complex
Part-time position.  Responsible for greeting and assisting the public.  Must be able to answer questions in person and on the phone, distribute information, process registrations, and perform other office and facility related tasks.  Job involves supervising events and tournaments, and working the canteen.  You must be able to move equipment up to 50 lbs.  Hours will generally be nights and weekends.  Applicants must have a high school diploma.  Submit applications in person at the Barr Road Sports Complex or email them to Mr. Jess Sowell.

Batesburg-Leesville Leisure Center
Part-time position. $9/hr. 25-29 hours/week. M-F 12:30-6pm.  Responsibilities include greeting customers, answering phone calls, distributing information, processing payments, light cleaning duties, and other various tasks.  Must be able to lift chairs and tables.  Applicants must be 18 years old and have a high school diploma.  To apply submit completed applications to Kristie Weed at the Batesburg-Leesville Leisure Center.

Lexington Leisure Center

Lexington County Tennis Complex
Part time position. 20-25 hours/week. Spires Recreation Center

Job also involves daily supervision of gym activities and programs. Applicants must be able to move tables, chairs, and other gym equipment. Hours will generally be nights and weekends. Job Description:
The duties include transportation of seniors to and from the center and assists with daily duties at the center. Must have good people skills, able to lift 25 pound on a regular basis, and SC Driver’s license. Experience in Aging Services preferred.

Rate of Pay:
$10/hour

Grounds Crew
Maintenance Department
Job Description:
Under general supervision, performs a variety of maintenance related jobs to include:  turf care, landscaping, litter control, janitorial tasks, and preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and vehicles as needed.  Must be able to work in all weather conditions.  Work involves bending, heights, and lifting up to 75 pounds.  May be required to work weekends and nights as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Education - High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Qualification - Prefer previous experience with lawn care and/or building maintenance. 
Applicants must possess a valid SC Driver’s License (Class B License helpful) and be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Plumber

Maintenance Department
Job Description:
Under limited supervision, performs a variety of maintenance related jobs to include:  repair and replacement of plumbing fixtures and systems which includes faucets, toilets, water coolers, water heaters and valves, irrigation systems and water hydrants.  Must be able to work in all weather conditions.  Work involves bending and lifting up to 75 pounds.  May be required to work weekends and nights as needed.
Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Education - High School Diploma or GED and vocational/technical school training in plumbing.
Minimum Qualification -   3 to 5 years of experience in plumbing or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Certified Journeyman Plumber license helpful.  Applicants must possess a valid SC Driver’s License and be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
