COVID-19 Update

In an effort to stem the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Lexington County Recreation and Aging Commission will suspend the following activities, programs and Special Events through May 4th:

- All youth and adult sports activities will be suspended through May 4th. This includes all practices, games, tournaments and rentals.
- All facility rentals through May 4th.
- All After School programs will close and remain closed through the public school closure ordered by the Governor.
- All programs, classes and facility rentals within the Leisure Centers will be suspended through May 4th.
- All Leisure Centers, Wellness Centers, Senior Centers, Parks, Playgrounds, Offices and Gymnasiums will be closed to the public through May 4th.
- All Senior Centers and the Congregate Meal Program will be suspended until May 4th. Home Delivered Meal “Meals on Wheels” will operate on normal schedule.

The Lexington County Recreation and Aging Commission will continue to constantly monitor this evolving situation. We will reevaluate the health situation prior to May 4th and then decide appropriate recommendations for either resuming, starting or further delaying activities, programs and rentals.
