On Deck Academy would like to share some more very exciting news! Nick Wernli (2019 On Deck O's/Porter Ridge HS) has committed to Carson-Newman! Nick is a right-handed pitcher who really competes on the mound and has the ability to be very productive in various roles. He is an awesome teammate and a very good student. He has a bright future ahead of him on and off the field.
We would like to congratulate the coaching staff at Carson-Newman, as well as Nick's parents, Stacy and Randy, on this wonderful accomplishment! The Eagles picked up a solid addition to their 2019 recruiting class!
