Job Description:
Under general supervision, maintains assigned area(s) of the Commission’s facilities in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition by performing various repetitive tasks using necessary equipment and supplies. Must be able to work in all weather conditions. Work involves bending, heights, and lifting to 75 pounds. May be required to work weekends and nights as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Education – High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Qualification - Prefer previous experience with custodial or janitorial duties. Applicants must possess a valid SC Driver’s License) and be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Electrical Assistant
Job Description:
Under general supervision, performs a variety of maintenance-related jobs including electrical maintenance of equipment in facilities; installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and lighting systems. Work involves bending, heights, and lifting to 75 pounds. Must have good communication skills. May be required to work weekends and nights as needed. Valid SC Drivers’ License and must be able to obtain a CDL license within the first 6 months of employment. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Minimum Qualification – Electrical certification preferred

Mechanic
Job Description:
Under general supervision, performs a variety of repairs to machinery and equipment including vehicles, tractors, small engines, and heavy equipment. Must be able to lift and/or carry weights of 75 pounds. Must possess a valid SC Drivers’ License and be able to obtain a CDL license to include Class A, combination, and passenger endorsements, within the first 6 months of employment. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Education – High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Qualification – 3 to 5 years of experience in motor vehicle maintenance mechanics, ASE Certified preferred, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
