Youth Cross Country Runners Qualify for National Championships

The Lexington County Recreation Commissions Youth Cross Country Program has 2 runners qualified for the USATF National Championships for 2018!

In just the second year of the program, LCRAC will be sending 3 runners to the National Championships being held in Reno, Nevada on December 8th, 2018.

Chethan Brahmapuram will be competing in the 8U Boys- 2000 meter run. Chethan qualified from the southern regional championships with a time of 9:20 seconds.

Lydia Kloke will be competing in the 8U Girls- 2000 meter run. Lydia qualified from the Southern regional championships with a time of 9: 41 seconds.

Chethan and Lydia our the first two runners in the LCRAC Cross Country Program's history to advance to the National Championships. We wish them all the luck and are hoping they can bring us home our first USATF National Championship!
